Who Should I Contact?
Those who work at the OTD are there to support its two core functions—IP Protection and Licensing. As an inventor, your primary interactions will be with the IP protection staff when dealing with patent-related matters, and with your dedicated Licensing Manager or Licensing Assistant regarding marketing and licensing activities. The following table shows the person to contact for IP questions:| Contact | Responsibilities | ||

Stuart Martens Portfolio Manager |

|
Rose Plasek Patent Associate |

Licensing Managers and Licensing Assistants are responsible for assisting faculty, students and staff with invention disclosures, marketing technologies to industry and executing license agreements. Your first contact with the OTD when disclosing an invention should be the Licensing Manager assigned to your college or department. The following table shows which Licensing Manager and Licensing Assistant are most closely related to your area of expertise.
