Materials Transfer Agreements
Materials Transfer Agreements are agreements between UNL, private companies and other institutions that protect each party’s intellectual property rights to research materials you may wish to share with another scientist or company – or they may wish to share with you – for research purposes. You always should have a Materials Transfer Agreement in place before sending your research materials to or receiving materials from someone outside your laboratory.
Please contact your OTD case manager to arrange a Materials Transfer Agreement, or if you receive a company’s Materials Transfer Agreement for signature, please bring it to OTD.
