Program Manager, Office of Technology Development

Commercialize the university's intellectual property. Train faculty/staff on invention disclosure and commercialization process. Evaluate inventions and discoveries for commercial potential and intellectual property protection. Market the University's intellectual property. Negotiate and manage appropriate technology license agreements.
Required: Master's degree in the field of life sciences or physical sciences, or equivalent experience. Two years of experience in technology transfer, high-level life science/biotechnology industry sales, business development or relevant marketing. Requires a dedicated professional willing to work well beyond a normal work week, travel on short notice, sometimes for extended periods of time. Output will be evaluated according to productivity in terms of value generated for the University.
Preferred: PhD in the field of life sciences or physical sciences, or equivalent experience. Five years of experience in technology transfer, high-level life science/biotech industry sales, business development or relevant marketing.
